- LW is made by NewTek. NewTek's "famous" product was the Video Toaster.
- It's an Amiga specific, 4 input digital switcher for video. Up til about
- a year and a half ago it was in it's own league as far as video quality /
- price is concerned. Today there are more Video Toaster style computer
- switchers for all sorts of platforms.

- It originally shipped with the Switcher program (obviously, since it's a
- switcher), a paint program, a character generator, and a 3d graphics
- program (called Lightwave). It was marketed for the small time video
- professional (or "videographers").
